You must have at least two years of hard-core daily newspaper or online reporting experience and love computer tinkering to succeed in this contract freelance position. (Hands-on Linux experience is a *huge* plus.) You will produce news articles and feature stories for Linux.com. You must be self-motivated and organized enough to work with little or no supervision. $200 - $400 per article, up to three articles per week. Could become a full-time position by the end of 2008. Wesley Spectrum Services is at work for over 3,000 children and over 7,000 family members right now in our unique school, mental health, and family programs across Western Pennsylvania.

Guided by our unique Kid-Centered Decision Making method, a picture for each of these children today looks very different from a picture a day, a week, a year ago.

We are currently seeking Contracted Writers to develop Life Domain Assessments on clients of Wesley Spectrum Services.

Excellent income for College or Graduate students seeking flexible hours. Contracted writer will be provided the contacts and tools necessary to create profiles on clients seeking permanent placement. By contacting previous foster families, court systems, and other agencies you will create a life domain assessment on the client which will become a full history and court document. Must have very strong writing skills and the ability to summarize information. Third year college students and above will be considered.

Writing is on a contract basis paying $725 per completed profile. Profiles can take up to but no more than 3 months to complete on a part-time basis; you may work on multiple cases if available. Payment is on a contract basis and includes no benefits.
